A Telling from different angles

Fords New AI

Ford is trying to patent a new repo system. With advanced technology, Ford wants to implement systems into your vehicle when you miss your payments for the vehicle. There are five different warning levels involved that Ford is taking to ensure you make your payments.

The first warning is a text message that lets you know you need to pay your bills.

The second warning level is they start to disable features in your car. Such features include your music and even your air conditioning.

The third warning level is annoying sounds will start playing in your car uncontrollably. These sounds will be loud buzzing and chimes coming from the speakers of your car to essentially annoy you into paying your bills, the only way to stop the sounds is to shut the car off.

The fourth warning level is where the car will be deemed unusable on the weekends. But the car will still be able to function on the weekdays so you can still go to work to pay off your bills.

The fifth and final warning system is where the car repos itself. If all the other steps fail and you still don’t make your payments then the car will drive itself to either the nearest dealership or scrapyard. If the people believe for itself to be below market value meaning the car will be able to determine its own value then it will drive itself to a junkyard but if it sees itself above market value then it’ll drive itself to a Ford dealership.

Many people are freaking out about this new system. Essentially you won’t be the only one on the road with its own mind. This car will have more control and power over you and in a way the car will be driving you. Looking at this from a business standpoint Ford is cracking down on people not paying their bills and if they are going ahead with this they must be saving money in developing and implementing this new technology into vehicles. This could deter people from buying Ford products, but only time will tell if other car companies will implement similar means to make sure people pay their car bills.
